Hi Rodney and Narelle,
Have been giving some thought to the whole bicycle thing - and have come up 
with the following thoughts. (I know, a bit heavy for a  Friday afternoon) but 
here goes:
I'd just like to say that while there are many bike shops both locally and 
online - all vying for my business - I will always come back to Le Spit, 
because of the attitude of the staff and owners. 

In particular, Rodney, you might not remember that when I started road riding 
18 months ago you always looked after the stragglers and gave them
(me) confidence that one day they could catch up with the pack - no matter how 
far down the hill they were. I may still lag behind a bit - but your support 
was instrumental in keeping me going. It is all too easy for all the tough 
guys to burn all the 'losers' off ( and good for their fragile egos) but it is 
the support of those who pick up the stragglers that are so important. 

I feel that the Le Spit group is all about enjoying cycling at whichever level 
you are on - and not passing judgement on (and excluding) those who may be 
slower than you.

So from somebody that has struggled up many a hill - and looks forward to many 
more, I just wish to say that you both have helped nurture my love of cycling 
and that you have earned a very valuable thing - my respect.

Keep on looking after the guy half way down the hill. Because odds -on it's 
probably me!
